SOLSBURY HILL
Several years ago I found that Solsbury Hill, made famous in the 1977 Peter Gabriel song, was an actual place in Batheaston. After reading up on it from stories and blogs on the internet, it was settled. Climbing up Solsbury Hill was now on my Bucket List. One rainy afternoon in Bath the town turned out to see a Guiness Book of Records set- the most people umbrella dancing to "Singin' in the Rain". I turned them and the street magicians into unpaid dancers for the video! One more note, at 2:20 when the red car goes by towards the bridge, that's in front of Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in Box, Wiltshire. ******* From our May 2010 visit to Bath, England, and nearby Batheaston, home to Little Solsbury Hill. Filmed with Canon 5D Mark II, edited in Vegas Pro 9, various Magic Bullet Looks effects.
